The Story

I was drawn to lutherie later in life as a way to improve my musical skills. I thought if I made the instrument I would be more inclined to play/practice on it. Turns out I was right, but it also turns out that I so enjoyed the process I could not stop at one. I am lucky that I can follow this interest as part of a growing global community of luthiers

I hope you find the instruments I make of interest. I think they are different from many of the offerings out there.

I make individual instruments and so far no two I have made have been alike.

I enjoy the challenge of creating new designs and styles of string instruments.
